Issues
Central government officials must approve studies on the origin of the virus and some officials tried to cause doubt about its origin. Although the response was quick and aggressive, there was a delay in action and information was suppressed. This caused the public to lose some trust in the government.
After 76 days of isolation, Wuhan lifted its lockdown restrictions. Government officials still warn that there was work to be done.
