Bethany is currently a rising junior. In this project, she compiled an overarching timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic, researched Macau’s government response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and also analyzed the types of responses governments used to counteract COVID-19, and how effective those responses were. Bethany describes herself as a self-directed learner, a reliable worker, and an optimistic thinker.

Brandon is a rising junior and researched government responses to Covid-19 in Europe, specifically Italy and the UK, as well as Iran. He analyzed the positives and negatives of the policies that these countries enacted in response to the virus and describes the consequences of how a late shutdown can impact a country, as well as measures taken to counteract its effects. Brandon describes himself as motivated, quirky, and eager to learn.

Kailin (aka. Kathy) is currently a rising junior. In this project, she researched how to mitigate the spread of the virus as well as the economic impact of the pandemic. She was also the website editor, graphic designer (alongside Abby and Nicole), and video editor. Kathy describes herself as a dynamic worker, dedicated, and down to earth.

Rachel is a rising senior and she was in charge of researching how Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong responded to Covid-19, and how those responses affected the spread of the virus. She also compared and contrasted the responses of foreign countries, to come to a conclusion on how America can learn from those countries to improve upon its response in the future. Rachel describes herself as passionate, adventurous, and eager to dive deep.

Abby was also a graphic designer for the project. She describes herself as an empathetic, ambitious, and passionate person in her studies as well as interests.
